Or Tea? Duke's Blues, Earl Grey with Blue Cornflower

Some teas fade as soon as the cup is empty. This Earl Grey tends to stay with you a little longer. It has a softer edge, shaped by bergamot and lemon, with blue petals adding a subtle visual accent. An unhurried cup, best enjoyed slowly, even if you were planning to rush.

The bergamot essential oil used in this blend comes from France. Selected for its clarity and balance, it gives the tea its recognisable Earl Grey character while allowing the base tea to come through.

Why we selected this tea

The flavour of this Earl Grey is surprisingly clean and well-balanced. It comes across as lightly sweet and juicy, with both bergamot and lemon present without becoming dominant. These citrus notes make the profile more interesting than other Earl Grey blends. 

The tea has a medium body and a lemon-leaning aftertaste, fresh and reminiscent of lemon peel. Overall, it feels more balanced and yet more intriguing than many Earl Grey blends, where the aroma can easily take over or result in a flat experience.
