Come dice il vecchio proverbio "non giudicare un libro dalla copertina". Queste palline di tè bianco Chiaro di Luna potrebbero non sembrare belle, ma il loro sapore batterà la maggior parte dei tè più costosi e dall'aspetto più carino. In effetti, pensiamo che questo sia uno dei migliori tè bianchi che quest'anno abbiamo finora assaggiato!
La consistenza è liscia e cremosa con un profilo aromatico di frutta matura, se infuso ad alta temperatura ha sentori di spezie e caramelle alle erbe, se invece infuso a basso temperature è dolce e floreale. Il liquore è brillante e limpido e ha il colore di un giovane vino da dessert. Solo pochi sorsi di questo tè offriranno una sensazione rilassante a tutto il corpo. Un tè intrigante che crea dipendenza, con un sacco di sapore che ti farà ritornare per averne ancora.

Steeping temperature: 100ºC
Western Method: Steep 1 moonlight white tea ball with 500ml of water for 1.5 minutes. Increase the steeping time by 1 minute for each next steep.
Traditional method: Steep 1 tea ball with 100ml of water and steep for 30 seconds. After the first steep apply the following steeping times for the next steeps: 20, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 seconds.

Personally I only coldbrew my teas. This one was a wonderful coldbrew!! Smells and tastes of flowers and a little fruity too. There's the slightest hint of puer taste at the very back of the tasting. Very pleasant!
Surprisingly long-lasting tea with delicate, not overwhelming taste
The ball in 120ml gaiwan last for 2 liters of water until the taste fades, so it is a pleasant tea for a long session.
It also has a wonderful balance of taste and smell. So it doesn’t taste flat while being fragrant and vise versa. The taste is pleasant with distinctive white tea herbal/medicinal notes, and the smell has a distinct plum. Later it goes to a more herbal notes, but stays extremely pleasant. Lovely addition to any collection for a very reasonable price.

Delightful aged tea. While Moon Garden is my favorite aged white tea, for so many reasons. But this was wonderful to try. Getting an aged white tea that is already at its 7 years makes it a true treasure. If you don’t know the saying about aged white tea:
The first year it is tea, the third year medicine, and the 7th year a treasure.
This is truer than people realize due to the cultivation of flavinoind and other compounds. The benefits from aged white tea can truly not be understated. There are scientific papers on it which you can read and explain it, as it’s been studied. Truly, I must recommend aged white tea for its flavor and many benefits.

Extremely welcoming tea, with a consistent flavour profile. Will take you straight to late summer, dressed with a latent hue of honey. Well-balanced and very smooth.
Honestly a bit dissapointed. Some of the leaves are a bit too shredded and may be the cause of the tea-bag astringent type of taste. Its not BAD per-se and since its not too expensive its definitely an OKAY tea but its not very grassy or floral and it truly lacks the sweetness and pleasantness of an aged white tea. I seriously doubt how this has been stored because it does much more taste if old tea - tea thats past its best-before date - than AGED tea. I wouldnt buy any more of this unless it was a fresh batch, because then it would probably taste much better. Id much rather go with the other 2019 white tea balls on this site where I wrote another review, and is priced the same, buy that one instead!

Tuttavia, invece di mostrare la vita quotidiana delle persone nella capitale cinese (come nell’opera originale), con questo design raffiuguriamo gli agricoltori intenti nelle fasi di produzione del tè attraverso la stessa prospettiva a volo d’uccello.
Esaminando in dettaglio il design del nostro packaging, gli appassionati di tè osserveranno il processo di preparazione del tè: i coltivatori raccolgono, essiccano, arrotolano e cuociono le foglie di tè. Il tè viene poi degustato in un padiglione e trasportato da cavalli lungo “L’Antica Via del Tè e dei Cavalli” .
Il paesaggio tradizionale cinese e il tema della produzione del tè simboleggiano il patrimonio, la tradizione e il rispetto per il duro lavoro dei coltivatori del tè.
