A superior grade Silver Needle white tea with a delicate and soft texture, complex aroma of white flowers, and a sweet after taste of rock sugar.
This white tea from Fujian province consisting of young unopened buds with white velvet fuzz. This tea belongs to one of China's top ten most famous teas. The leaves of our Silver Needle tea are harvested in the early Spring season under optimal conditions. Therefore, it's only produced in very small quantities. The leaves undergo minimal processing (mainly withering and sun-drying) so that the young buds maintain its high concentration of antioxidants, while being very low in caffeine.

Western method
Infuse 3 grams of Silver Needle white tea with 500 ml water at a temperature of 80ºC and steep for 1.5 minutes. For a second steep increase the steeping time to 2 minutes
Traditional method
Infuse 5 grams of Silver Needle with 100ml water at 80ºC and steep for 30 seconds. Increase the steeping time by 10 seconds for every next steep.
Cold-brewing
For cold-brewing you may use a bottle, jug, teapot or any brewing vessel that has a lid. Use 10 grams of Silver Needle tea per 500ml of cold water. Cover the brewing vessel with a lid, and store in the fridge for 8-10 hours.
