这款普洱茶饼是由来自勐库坝糯古树的厚片茶叶和有着明显绒毛的芽叶制成。

所用的茶叶在2022年春季由手工采摘,并加工成毛茶(散茶)。之后以散茶形式陈化7个月,直到2022年11月蒸煮并石压成饼。茶饼由两层纸双层包装,这使其能够更好地进一步陈化。

这款茶有蜂蜜的甜味,带有百合、菊花和茉莉花的复合花香。金黄色的茶汤外表丰厚油润,有着顺滑、细腻和饱满的口感。挥之不去的回甘是甜美而清爽的,并带有薄荷的味道。这款茶还会在你的杯底或盖碗的盖子上留下香气。

6 Grams, 15 steeps

With 6 grams of tea per session, you’ll be able to get 15 steeps in a 150ml gaiwan, and enjoy over 2 litres of tea.

Steeping Instructions

This is a very forgiving raw pu erh tea, when it comes to the steeping temperature. It will taste great when steeped anywhere between 85 to 100ºC (185 - 212ºF). At lower temperatures, you’ll enjoy a softer and more creamy taste and notice the subtle nuances in the honey and flowery aroma. At higher temperatures, the taste will be more robust and the texture will be thicker.

For your first session we recommend you to steep 6 grams of tea leaves at 95ºC (200ºF), with the following steeping times:

  • 1-4th steep: 10 seconds
  • 5-6th steep: 15 seconds
  • 7-8th steep: 20 seconds
  • 9-10th steep: 30 seconds
  • 11-12th steep: 40 seconds
  • 13-15th steep: 60 seconds

After your first session, you may experiment with different temperatures and steeping times as according to personal taste.

I really love this tea, it has the sweet, silky aroma which is for me characteristic for a Gushu pu-erh. Even though it's a young sheng and therefor still has a little bit of astringency, I definitely want to buy another cake from this pu-erh to store away and let it age for at least 7 years. But even now, it's already a very beautiful tea to enjoy. The tea has indeed a beautiful Cha Qi, which enlightens the Heart and Mind. The only downside to this tea is that I found a lot of woody twigs in the cake, which made me wonder if this is a bud and two leaves picking, or if maybe also other leaves have been picked as well.
