My favourite black tea so far. In this moment, mon-fri I drink yunnan gold, sat-sun I drink this tea, because it requires a hotter water, so I spend more time to prepare and let it cool before drink it.
I really liked how balanced is this tea and how it evolves. In particular, I enjoyed the hybrid black tea and ripe pu erh taste and the subtle spicy taste. Super recommended: I'll definitely buy the full cake.

If you have doubts about purchasing these minicakes, i'm telling you this is one of the best pu'erh i've ever tried.

I wasn't sure about this tea at first but the taste is very interesting. The fact that it's a pressed coin makes my brain automatically think "pu erh" even though I know it's a black (red) tea so the actual taste is a surprise. Very mild and subtle but still defined. I use a whole mini coin for a small to medium gaiwan because when I tried it for the first time with just half a coin the flavor felt a bit weak for my taste. I'd like to experiment a bit more with this one and just ordered a whole big cake of it. And I have to mention the artwork on the wrapping paper which is just beautiful.

The tea is smooth and easy to drink. It has a medium thick body with a sweet and floral taste. I will leave it to age in its beautiful wrapper to see the change.

A bit bland to be fair and a regular Lapsang souchong would be intriguing, but Amber Sunrise could appeal to the less adventurous or days of such.

Io sono amante dei pu erh maturi e speziati e questo thè lo inserisco tra loro.

One of the best black teas I’ve ever tasted! No bitterness, thick, sweet and aromatic! Delicious!
