This is a typical raw pu erh that has a light and soft taste, yet packed with intense refreshing floral aroma. The 215 Da Xue Shan series, has been produced by Oripuerlab since 2013, and due to the popularity, this cake is returning for the 10th time in 2022. For 9 years in a row this cake has been fully sold out, and 2022 won’t be different. It’s a raw pu erh tea cake made from the leaves of the Da Xue mountain in Lingcang, Mengku at a 2250m elevation.

How to make Da Xue Shan 215?
There are two methods to prepare this pu erh tea cake:
Gongfu brewing
Brew 6 gram with 120 ml of water at 100 °C. Steep for 10 seconds for the first steep to loosen up the tea leaves. Apply a steeping time of 5 seconds for the second and third steep. Afterwards, gradually increase the steeping time according to your taste.
Western brewing
Steep 4 gram with 350 ml of water at 100 °C. Apply a brewing time of 40 seconds and add 20 minutes for each subsequent infusion.
Tip: This tea taste the best when brewed light, so that the aroma can be enjoyed at its fullest.
