A fairly rare tuocha from the Xiaguan Tea Factory, as no additional production has entered the market after 2014. This tuocha is made from more premium raw pu erh tea leaves and the paper box also appears more premium as the other Xiaguan tuocha boxes.
The raw material is more premium and uniform, and the tea soup is light golden. The taste is slightly bitter and light, but it doesn't have the smokiness that you may find in some Xiaguan tuocha's. The bitterness quickly dissipates and turns into a long lasting flowery sweetness.

How to make Xiaguan Tuo Zhi Yuan (Origin of Tuo) tea?
There are two methods to prepare this pu erh tuo cha tea:
Gongfu brewing
Brew 6 gram with 150 ml of water at 100 °C. Steep for 20 seconds and add 5 seconds for each infusion.
Western brewing
Steep 3 gram with 350 ml of water at 100 °C. Apply a brewing time of 1-2 minutes and add 30 seconds for each next infusion.
