The shop looks great and offers quality items - ordering was easy and straightforward. However, the delivery process was frustrating. The initial tracking link didn’t work, and although support responded quickly, the delivery was delayed with no clear notifications. The parcel ended up at the local post office instead of being delivered to the address I provided, and I only found out by calling them. Since it was a gift, the timing was important, so the lack of updates made things stressful. In the end, everything arrived fine, but I hope the delivery experience improves.
Hi Anton, sorry about the shipping experience. We currently ship parcels with Dutch Post and when it arrives in your country it's handed over to the local post to handle it. There's not an option for us to chose how it will be handled by your local post. However, we do appreciate your feedback, and we'll try to expand in more shipping options in the future.
Our design work is inspired by the artwork “Along the River During the Qingming Festival” by the Zhang Zeduan in the Song Dynasty. Instead of displaying the daily lives of people in the capital of China (as the original artwork), we display the tea making process of farmers through the same bird’s eye perspective.
When examining our packaging design in detail, tea enthusiasts will observe the tea making process, featuring tea farmers picking, drying, rolling, and frying tea leaves. The tea is then tasted in a pavilion and transported by horses along the ‘ancient tea road’.
Together, the traditional Chinese landscape and tea making theme, symbolise heritage, tradition, and respect for hard work of tea farmers.
