白茶还是绿茶?

作为被称为“安吉白茶”的绿茶,其名称有些让人困惑。“白”实际上是指其茶叶的特定栽培品种,这品种新鲜的茶叶颜色较浅。虽然干燥处理过的茶叶不会出现白色,但热水泡这种茶,就会看出其浅的色调。

安吉村

正如茶名所示,安吉白来自浙江省的安吉村。该村是一个以种植竹子、花卉,当然还有茶叶为生的小社区。

Western method

Infuse 3 grams of tea with 500ml water at a temperature of 80ºC and steep for 1 minutes. For a second steep increase the steeping time to 2 minutes

Traditional method

Infuse 5 grams of tea with 100ml water at 80ºC and steep for 20 seconds. Increase the steeping time by 5 seconds for every next steep.

Cold-brewing

For cold-brewing you may use a bottle, jug, teapot or any brewing vessel that has a lid. Use 10 grams of tea per 500ml of cold water. Cover the brewing vessel with a lid, and store in the fridge for 6 hours.

Nice and aromatic, not astringent. Less suitable for a long series of steeps. We did 4 steeps, the 5th was missing one of the tones in the flavour. Beautiful and intact leaves.
