Ceai Negru Yunnan Gold (Dian Hong).

This tea is from the spring harvest of 2025 and was grown and harvested in Fengqing.
I brewed the tea at 85 degrees Celsius, starting with a 20-second steeping time.
An incredibly sweet tea with pronounced honey notes and a pleasant maltiness. You can also clearly taste floral notes in the background. A great Hong Cha at a great price.

Not quite my taste because the malty/honey fragrance is very strong. But it delivers on what it promises so I would say for someone who likes a very fragrant tea this is nice.

Extremely scentful tea (has a character of rich milk chocolate with bourbon vanilla), a kind of its own. I was already familiar with this specific tea from several years earlier, and from Teasenz, this one is a definite favourite for me.

As an oolong lover (Dancong and yancha), I rarely drink black tea, but this Yunnan Gold is truly special. It will definitely be included in my next order.

Een lekker aromatische thee. Niet bitter ook niet als ie wat langer heeft getrokken. De opgerolde blaadjes vragen wel om een wat groter lepeltje om de thee in de pot te doen.

I like making my own black tea mix using Yunnan Gold, Yingde Black and Jin Jun Mei - it creates a very luxurious mix full of sweet chocolatey notes and a lot of complexity. Great with some warm oat milk in the morning.

I really LOVED this tea... and I said LOVED because it's finished. It's my favourite breakfast tea. The smell is AMAZING and the flowery+honey taste is superb.
I'll buy again - but caring about the budget: it is more expensive than other black teas. Maybe I could try ju jun mei due to my preference to this tea.

This is a very malty, choccolaty woth a hint a fruitness black tea. As usual this golden buds tea are very sensitive to brew temperature but if done right (for me is 90° C water) this is a very enjoyable tea at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended

My favorite black tea, tastes similar to the Qi Lan but has a brighter flavor due to the sweet honey and floral notes, i highly recommend this tea.

This tea is really flavorful without having any bitter or sharp undertones. The flavor and aroma is smooth and I enjoy the hint of honey that comes trough.
This tea is perfect to drink at any time, and would be a great starter-tea to help introduce to someone curious on nicer types of tea.

I loved this tea! The leaves are beautiful and brew wonderfully for at least four infusions gong fu style—probably more. The flavor is rich and smooth with sweet, honey-like notes, a touch of maltiness, and a subtle hint of cocoa. Highly recommend if you enjoy smooth, flavorful black teas with a bit of natural sweetness.

Beautiful taste of caramel sweetness mixed with floral touches. Aftertaste is a bit woody, what I really like. Can stand up to 8-9 steeps!

very high quality tea. Almost sweet notes in the beginning, before you get the typical hong cha flavor.

Aroma of honey, brown sugar, spices, musk and flowers. In the mouth it begins with initial notes of spices (cinnamon, ginger), honey, brown sugar, becomes floral with certain touches of sweet dried fruit.
