A magnificent Yixing teapot by Yixing artist Yaowen Xu. The teapot is made from White Jade Duan Ni clay and has a 9-hole filter in its spout.

White Jade Duan Ni Teapot

As the name of the clay type already suggest, the teapot has a beautiful white appearance. Compared to the classic Duan Ni or other traditional clay types, such as Zhu Ni or Zi Ni, teapots made from this clay time often have a more modern look. Hence, it's generally more loved by younger Yixing teapot collectors.

Landscape Clay Art

Similar to some other Yixing teapots in our collection, this teapot also features a beautiful landscape on the outside. The landscape art is painted by processing different Yixing clay types into a thinner state, before it is painted on the teapot with a brush.
