An affordable, yet masterly processed ripe (fermented) pu erh tea brick with a well balanced sweet and smooth flavour and a thick texture.
This tea consists of a blend of tea leaves from different regions in Menghai. The choice of raw material is inspired by the Dayi tea factory's 7592 recipe and Kunming tea factory's 7581 recipe.
The dry tea leaves of this tea brick features an oily looking surface indicating optimal storage and fermentation.
A testament to craftsmanship
When we received a sample of this tea, we honestly thought we wouldn't launch it in our store. The tea consists of larger, more mature tea leaves as well as some twigs. However, after tasting this tea, we notices how incredibly well it was processed. The taste was deliciously smooth and sweet and the texture pleasantly thick. Moreover, there was no presence of storage flavours or excessive earthiness that we often taste in cheap pu erh tea. Instead, the aroma was well balanced and crisp.
Overall, we felt this tea was a true testament to craftsmanship and an excellent choice for those just started exploring the realms of ripe pu erh tea. While pu erh tea can definitely be a bit of an acquired taste, we think this is the most accessible ripe pu erh tea to try at an affordable price.

this is the best Pu er I have tried in a long time. Absolutely love it. Slightly adstringent, slightly bitter, very full, earthy flavor.

Our design work is inspired by the artwork “Along the River During the Qingming Festival” by the Zhang Zeduan in the Song Dynasty. Instead of displaying the daily lives of people in the capital of China (as the original artwork), we display the tea making process of farmers through the same bird’s eye perspective.
When examining our packaging design in detail, tea enthusiasts will observe the tea making process, featuring tea farmers picking, drying, rolling, and frying tea leaves. The tea is then tasted in a pavilion and transported by horses along the ‘ancient tea road’.
Together, the traditional Chinese landscape and tea making theme, symbolise heritage, tradition, and respect for hard work of tea farmers.
