This Oripuerlab 725 tea cake is an ultra premium, collector grade ripe pu erh tea made with high-quality material from Jiu Miao village, in the mountainous area of Yiwu.
This ripe pu erh has a smooth texture and carries a clean, gently rising aroma. The lingering aftertaste is mellow and refreshing. As the session progresses, the body thickens, and warmth builds, with subtle notes reminiscent of longan and dried fruit.
Jiu Miao, Yiwu
The Jiumiaozhai village is blessed with a warm, humid monsoon climate, gentle sunshine, and large day-night temperature swings. Tea trees grow naturally in dense forests surrounding the village with a nutrition rich soil. These conditions encourage slow growth and high leaf tenderness, resulting in a delicious taste.
“Yuan” Fermentation
The 725 tea is produced using Oripuerlab’s fourth-generation “Yuan Gongyi” fermentation process, developed over six years as a cleaner, more controlled evolution of traditional pile fermentation. The method focuses on off-ground fermentation, precise temperature control, and careful management of water and time. The result is a ripe pu erh with exceptional purity, free of musty notes or heavy fermentation odor.
