This Oripuerlab's Bingdao 715 tea cake has won Gold Medal at the 14th International Dingcheng Tea King Spring Competition (国际鼎承茶王赛春季赛金奖) in 2024.
This award-winning ripe pu-erh is crafted from premium tea leaves harvested from ancient trees in the Bingdao (Lincang), Yunnan Province. The 715 cake reflects Oripuerlab’s mastery in processing, offering a smooth and layered experience that evolves with each steep.
Its flavor is mellow and sweet, with a distinct fruity aroma that brings to mind ripe strawberries, pineapple juice, tart, and a wild forest finish. As the steeping progresses, the aroma turns earthier, while a lingering sweetness continues to envelop your mouth. The texture is thick and satisfying, making every sip a pleasure.
This tea offers excellent endurance, lasting for over 12 steeps with ease when prepared the traditional way.
