A Haiwan Old Comrade tea cake made from 5-10 year aged raw pu erh tea leaves. This pu erh tea cake is thinner than traditional tea cakes, which makes it exceptionally easy to break without the need for a tea knife. It’s also beautifully packed inside an envelope with red candle wax seal. When you order 5 cakes, you’ll also receive the original box.

How to Steep

How to make this Die Xian pu erh cake?

There are two methods to prepare this pu erh tea:

Gongfu brewing

Brew 6 gram with 100 ml of water at 95 °C. Apply 10 seconds for the first 4 steeps and add 5 seconds for each next infusion.

Western brewing

Steep 3 gram with 350 ml of water at 100 °C. Apply a brewing time of 2-3 minutes and add 1 minutes for each subsequent infusion.
