Quality raw materials, taste, despite the small ageing, rich and (perhaps self-deception), but as if it really smacks of sunflower notes, a very kind and gentle old comrade.
I'm glad to hear you like this ripe pu erh despite it being a relatively young cake. With ripe pu erh tea, the pile fermentation processes can result in a beautiful tea even when it's young. And Lao Tong Zhi brand is well known for carefully blending and getting the post-fermentation balance right. And despite the production year of 2025, in the blend can sometimes use tea material that has been pre-aged. 'A very kind and gentle old comrade,' lovely poetic description :)
really nice cakes, too bad they don't have the 357g cakes but it's my first haiwan shou and i'll look forward anoher lao tong zhi
Thank you for your feedback. The reason for stocking the 100g cakes, is because the price becomes more accessible and thus reaches a bigger group of tea lovers. However, if there's a specific cake for which you like to see a 357g version, please let us know through the chatbox, and we'll look into it and possibly list it on our website in the future.
