Amazing gentle flavor

Amazing gentle flavor. Visually the tea is stunning as well, which adds to the joy of preparing it. I prefer lowering the advised water temperature a little bit further, as my first try came out a bit too bitter.

What a wonderful picture, thanks for sharing! Thanks for also sharing your personal steeping advice. Tai Ping Hou Kui is rather delicate, and steeping at a lower temperature is definitely a good idea for those preferring a smoother and softer brew.

Beatiful leaves!

Beatiful tea, just the appearance alone makes it worth a try. Subtle umami and sweetness!

By far the best green tea I have ever had.

The first time I tried it I was shocked at how sweet and light it was. The leaves are long and beautiful, the smell is incredible, taste and fragrance as well. The colour is a very light and pure green. If I was forced to only ever drink one kind of green tea from now on, I would pick this one without a second thought.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Your kind words mean a lot to us! We're thrilled to hear you love the Tai Ping Hou Kui Green Tea so much; it’s truly a unique tea.

great everyday green

I bought it together with the "grandpa style" glass tea mug and was not disappointed. It has a nice nutty and clean taste, not overly green or hay-like, which I like. The size of the leaves is, even though I had seen pictures beforehand, really that different from other green teas.

Maybe my favourite green tea

Notes of watermelon rind and fresh cut grass, almost creamy. Even during very long steeps the bitterness is quite mild and pleasant

Brewing: 5g/100ml, 80°C, 20s, +5s.

Warmed-up dry leaves smell like watermelon rind, flowers and toasted hazelnuts. When wet, camphor and spinach notes appear.

The liquor is rich in leafy green vegetable flavours, complimented beautifully by a nutty aftertaste.

The product is as expected and they went out of their way to make sure I get my order because it was an international shipping which at some point seemed lost in translation; but they helped me track it down with my locals and all ended up great. thank you!

Great quality Tai Ping Hou Kui.

This green tea is my all time favourite tea, recently it has become harder to find in Europe for a good price, and I'm so happy that Teasenz was able to stock it for such a bargain. 13 euro for 70g is an amazing price nowadays and the offered quality is actually quite high. I wasn't disappointed in the slightest, good tea puts me in a good mood and this Taiping did just that.
