Een traditionele Song-dynastie Tenmoku-theekop met een prachtige natuurlijk gevormde glazuur als resultaat van het bakken in de oven op 1300ºC. Het patroon lijkt op 'drakenschubben'. Tenmoku-kopjes staan ook bekend als Jian Zhan-kopjes.

A beautiful cup with a deep and intriguing blue color in the deepest parts, turning a nice silver at the beginning of the rim peaking to an almost golden clay at the top of the rim. The outside have a beautiful glister and play of light in a transition between blue and silver

The slightly concave part before the rim makes it easy to hold and use and the overall roundish shape makes it hold a lot of tea without being too wide.

However, if I could I would have rated it 4.5 stars instead of 5 due to the slightly course feel of the raw ceramic (I am quite sensitive to the touch of materials), it have some quite noticeable horizontal lines that exacerbate this sensation to a slight degree, but it is easy to use the cup without contacting that part so I feel that it deserves more than a 4 star rating
